What we're doing about COVID-19

Fostering a safe and happy community is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’ve put the health and wellbeing of our residents, staff and visitors at the forefront of our response to the current coronavirus situation. Following the advice of health authorities and government, we have reopened our buildings for viewings and lettings but have put measures in place to protect everyone, which include:

  • Virtual viewings in the first instance
  • Protective screens at the reception desks
  • Social distancing signage
  • A limit of one household at a time using a lift
  • Hand sanitiser in multiple locations
  • Our on-site team will also be wearing masks and gloves where required when dealing with contractors and the general public.

We will continue to adapt our service to meet government guidelines. Thank you to everyone who has taken care to follow the measures we’ve put in place so far. Please continue to observe the new signs and instructions so that we can continue to reduce the spread of coronavirus and keep our community as safe as possible. How does the one month free rent incentive work?

The offer applies to 1, 2 & 3 bedroom homes only. The offer is only valid for move ins up until 31st December. There is a minimum 12 month contract and you will only need to pay your deposit before move in (unless paying full term in advance, please speak with team). Your first month’s rent will be due in full on 1st January. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and is not applicable to those who have already been referred to Blackhorse Mills under the refer a friend incentive. Subject to referencing and contracts.

Do the flats have outdoor space?

Some of our apartments have balconies and you will also be able to enjoy our large residents’ deck with a lido overlooking the wetlands. We also have a resident only gardens and a landscaped area with a play area and tennis court for all to enjoy.

What pets am I allowed?

Our flats are pet friendly however we do have a few restrictions on what type, sizes and breeds can stay with us. As a general guide, small and medium pets are ok, but large ones may not be. Your rent will be slightly higher with a pet, this is to cover cleaning and general wear and tear.

Is furniture included in the rent?

Our apartments come with a bespoke furniture collection included in your rental agreement at no extra cost. We’ve thought of every detail – from the sustainable sofa fabric, to the king-sized sumptuous beds in every bedroom – every piece has been crafted with our new residents in mind. Or you can choose an unfurnished apartment where you can bring your own furniture if you prefer. The choice is yours.
